Open the Instagram app on your iPhone
Tap on the Profile icon on the bottom of the screen
Open Settings
Scroll down and click Help Center
Click Basics > Getting Started
Click Delete Your Account
Click "How do I delete my account" (a hyperlink would appear for you to follow)
Enter your username and password. You would be asked why you're trying to delete your Instagram account permanently.
You would have to re enter your password again
Click "Permanently deactivate my account"
Tap on the confirmation

After 30 days of your deletion request, all the content on your account will be erased. However, copies of your profile's content may remain in the app's servers as backup storage.

Open Safari
Type Instagram.com into the mobile browser
Enter your account information and log in
